Mohawk Mountain defeated

Today we continued with our training for Bear mountain by hiking up and down and up and down then down Mohawk Mountain. We hiked about 6 miles in about 4.5 hours. We started at the entrance to the park and hiked all the way up to Cunningham Tower and then to the fire tower. It was kind of a disappoinment to find that the fire tower had been taken down. All that is left is the pilings. I remember hiking to Mohawk mountain in Boy Scouts and climbing the tower when we got there. We did really well today despite it starting to rain when we got there. Lucikly it stopped raining about half way up the mountain. We looked for carniverious plants in the bog but maybe it is too early for them.
