Paul Thomas Rysz, Jr., age 33, died Friday, July 3 at Yale-New Haven Hospital due to work related injuries. The beloved son of Paul T. and Kathleen Lee Rysz, Sr. was born in Norwalk November 16, 1975 and had lived here all of his life. Paul was a pile driver, welder and job foreman for Carpenter’s Local 210. He was a graduate of Norwalk High School, Class of 1993. Paul enjoyed camping, hiking, fishing, his R.C. cars and riding his motorcycle. Paul especially loved spending time with his niece and goddaughter Ashley, who he adored. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Paul is survived by his two brothers; Thomas Rysz and his wife Christine, and Timothy Rysz, his niece and goddaughter Ashley Rysz, paternal grandmother Marjorie Wargo Rysz, maternal grandmother Anna Manzi Lee, all of Norwalk, his fiancée Claire Iannacone and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Paul was predeceased by his grandfathers David Rysz, Sr. and Bernard Lee, Sr., his aunt Janice Rysz and his uncle Bernard Lee, Jr.
Paul’s family will receive friends at the MAGNER FUNERAL HOME, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk on Tuesday, July 7 from 5-8 PM. Funeral services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the:
